The Minus 5 @ The Doug Fir Lounge

We kicked off the 2012 edition of MFNW with the Minus 5 at the Doug Fir Lounge. Flanked by a who’s who Portland musicians such as Casey Neill and Jenny Conlee, Scott McCaughey played a breezy 40 minute set, starting things off with an easy, friendly vibe. With Bobby Bare Jr. and Sloan to follow, the Minus 5 led a night of indie rock that seemed to thrill the quietly appreciative crowd in the audience.
